Klening /"Slaggning" of the Gasifire. riddle kol/ashes. this has to be dun at least once a mounth at the Chevy.

Here I´m staring my Chevy Van (Beauville)

My chevy on a vacationtrip to Nora and Åmal aand back home to Tidaholm.


When I change the engine to the  350 V8 from the R 6. I had to change the hearth With bigger size in the hole and shortied the mulders 10mm.

My very homemade air/gas blender Whith circulation-blending of air and gas- Manual adjustmet of the secondaryai.

 

I was forced to change the engine from the straight 6 to a 350 V 8 and that V8 comes from this car. It´s a Lars (not Toreson) that mountied the gasifire on this car (brother to Per-Johan Elmgren) But I bought the engine from Toreson!

 

My Toyota Corolla70  -80 This was the furst gengascar I droved continues in trafic. (topspeed around 115 kmh)

this is some pictures on my first gengascar. A Toyota Corolla70 -80 It went many miles! The spennerband you se - The backwall of the trunk did not hold for the weight of the gasifire so I had to use that band to hold it up. later I put a steel link inside of the trunk that holdied the gasifire in place!

This car has even been on the TV for a cople of years ago. was send at Swedish TV, and the name of the program was: "Gör det själv" (Do it yourself)

Volvo 245 -84 gengas (topspeed-120kmh)

My furst Volvo 245 -84 -Expriment! I had it to run realy well! But when the gasifire had been on this car for a good while at this car. The engine gave up. (Not becouse of the generator) Bought an other Volvo 245 en -85a Pictures below.

This Volvo is the one that I move the gasifire to. A Volvo 240 -85

    

The gasifire has a pin for the fot to stand on when the gasifire has to be checked from abow.

here you can see an odd detail sticking out. Its an electric litening device, that starts the fire in the gasifire (Deconectied)

This hatch is the ahshatch. From this you groundfill the col in the reductionzone.Powerfull gripkloved bajonetfit with centrumpressure.This hatch is garatied airseeld.

This handle is to shake the roster. Sometimes you have to shake this so the ashes that´s in the way for the gasflow, gets to go to the bottom of the gasifire. But col in right size stays on the roster.

One finesse whith this gasifire, is that it is posible to swing it a side, when you need to open the trunk/backdoor. The red can, is a monorator can.(Here comes the condenswater from the gasifires fuelzone-the heat from the hearth makes the water go to steem, and this water follows the wall down to a groove that takes the water to thais can!) -Åke checks that the floor in the trunk is OK!

Åke checks so the crane to the condenscan for the monorator is closed.

The engine with the blender, secundaryair, airheat-tube (a must at wintertime),If you stuy thees pictures more carfully you can se a carbirator and hove this is regulatied by the throttle. Precisly when the throttle is opens at max,so moves the throttle on the carbirator. so the car gos when the pedal is in the floor on a mix of gengas and gasoline. perfect for poverdownsetting rise and if you need to pas an ather car cuiqly etc
